Hehe, I can't stand the DireFly renderer in Poser. I export my poser stuff for assembly and rendering in Carrara.

Alas, displacement often only works on one side of a model, and bump won't affect t ...

DAZ Studio might be a nice alternative for you if you're looking to get started for low cost.

It allows posing of figures, arranging of scenes, and rendering.

The beta was downloadable for free ...

Lol, Jim! You mean that stuff really ISN't going to come through the screen and hit me?!?

Hehe, I agree. There are too many times that excessive CG work is used to cover up a lack of a story. Not ...

For some reason I'm not very surprised by that. Cable and broadcast executives have to be ultra-sensative about making sure everything can squeek by the relatively uptight censors.

I recently read ...

I find I rather enjoy seeing a movie with well done CG... as long as it' not OVER done.

There've been a few cases where I've seen something obviously done with CG where it wasn't needed. The revers ...

Has anyone done any export tests with P6 yet?

I had heard that it would now allow Dynamic Hair export to Carrara via Transposer. Can anyone confirm how well it works?

Also, how about animation e ...

Ah, yes. I know what you mean about the lack of morphs with much of the DAZ clothing. I guess I don't notice that as much since I do a lot of the clothes fitting in the cloth room.

I really only ha ...
