Just four pages, and all happening in hospital... Rather grim and dark... Anyway, I don't think it'll get any more cheerful than that...

what an awesome start!! I really like the new atmosphere, darker and more intriguing, and I loved the idea of silent panels...

Excellent. I like the faux depth with the blurry backgrounds. The faces are so realistic. But the nurse turned caucasion in one panel.

Did Duncan kill that guy and a breath later say "...I'll leave now. No harm done."? Excellent special effect! How'd you do that?

Nah, he didn't kill him... The guy just passed out;)

The effect... Well, it was done in photoshop with a few white spots, distorted with Wave filter (i don't remember the settings). i have them saved as a seperate layer (actually, layers) in high resolution and use whenever I need them.

Whatever I tried, i couldn't replicate the effect from scratch...

I don't seem to find the wave filter anywhere in photoshop 7... is something you got as a plug-in?? if so, is the plug-in available somewhere?

excellent job on the new pages... the plot thickens...
