Here we will keep a list of writers looking for artists, artists looking for writers and writer/artists looking for same to collaborate with. Just post what skills you have and what you are looking for. _________________ I am a romantic, a seeker of beauty.

Okay, well, let me know if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but here goes...
I've been following this discussion since it began and I'd like to tell y'all a little bit about myself before I pitch an idea.
I'm 33 years old and live in England. I've been interested in CG since I saw Tron all those years ago and into comics for as long as I could read (though I haven't bought for a good few years because of the cost).
The thought of a digital comic obviously occurred to me a long time ago, I guess like everyone else here, but it was only when I came across packages like Poser and so forth that I saw it might be possible. For me, that's because I'm a terrible 2D artist and I don't mind admitting that. Then I saw Sacred Truth, Hat Check Kelly and so on, and I realised people were doing it.
Personally, I've always been a writer. My successes have been modest, but they go to show I'm not completely illiterate. I've had two short stories published in anthologies, been a quarter-finalist in a national TV script-writing competition (both times I entered) and nearly got into print through 2000AD (had some lengthy 'phone discussions with the guys in charge there, they said they liked my style and wouldn't have spent any time with me if they didn't think there was something there).
I say all this just to show that I'm not a dreamer; I can construct a story and can write both prose and professional comic-script style. These are the best credentials I can supply.
Now for my pitch: I've been working on a story for some time that suits the comic format. Without revealing the whole plot publicly, the idea is something along the lines of a World War II backdrop but set two hundred years later. For style, think Blade Runner meets Sky Captain. A retro-future setting, if you like. The plot concerns a character from the Axis powers apparently defecting to the Allied side. But is he all that he seems? The reader is kept guessing as to what is really going on, so there is plot there but also the opportunity for some explosive visuals (and serious renderer workouts).
It's essentially a self-contained story that sets up a milieu and possible hero for a long-term future if need be. There's no great meaning or anything involved, it's just a good escapist yarn.
I've got the outline complete and am happy to script away if there's interest. I should point out that I'm quite flexible on a number of points: I don't mind some story and script input from a potential artist and I'll happily script in any style to suit. I'm also a fairly decent 3D modeller (though most clothing is out, sadly) so I can probably contribute in that direction if need be.
If anyone's interested, please email me at electranaut@yahoo.co.uk and I'll be happy to send you my outline and discuss anything concerning the finer points with you.

I may have some free time to work on something early next year... If you don't know... I've dabbled in online comics a couple times now, usually running out of steam about halfway through, mainly from lack of interest from readers (which just tells me that my stories sucked)
But I'm an ok artist... maybe.
Hey.... this is on of the sections I'm not a mod in! Cool!

Ok.
I'm a writer/artist. I go through the writing thing ignoring my art, then the art and ignore my art from time to time. I would love to write and have someone else more capable than myself do the art for once since I don't always have the time to do both. Also I could do some art for someone, but really need to get back in writing!
I guess I should throw my writing cap into the arena, even although I'm already working on a project with one you. But hey! I'm a writer of things, I have two hands and can write with both of them. Always room for another project. _________________ If a thing is worth doing, it's worth overdoing.
