Well Sharby, got to admit, he at least has the nerve do do what he does without wearing a cowl.
Hmmm, then again, he does wear make-up.
Seriously though, thanks to the both of you btw, for the nice stuff you share. |

So HOW do we use the great looking unimesh costumes provided by Aremis? I have poser 6, I went to your site...(and sent you messages)... I am dying to have my own Superman....got the files, but they had weird headers...tried to change to just a jpg name, but the maps didn't look right, and I had no idea what to do with the files. If they are unimesh, (and I do know how to make mats, and use the spandex morphs for my figures)... but... ??
Sorry, new to this...and was so happy to even find something for the unimesh figures!! I have capes and probably can find some boots...got the superman belt... but as I sit here watching my George Reeves DVDs and my Lois & Clark DVD's ... I am wanting to DO some art!!
Help?
Thanks!
okay...Aremis is here talking to me with messages...getting closer to understanding what to do... |

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CERTAIN MUSKATEER GRAPHICS TEXTURES
===================================
NOTE 1: Some textures off my site are created as overlays, so that they can be used with any body skin/head skin texture combos that you may have purchased/downloaded elsewhere. These textures are easilly distinguishable from standard texture sets, as they have a .PSD file format.
NOTE 2: To use the overlay texture maps, you must have Photoshop, in order to open the file.
=====================================
1) Using Photoshop, open up the .PSD file that you have downloaded.
2) Next, open up the body/head texture that you wish to have the overlaid Muskateer Graphics texture used with.
3) You need to ensure that both textures are the same size. Select the Skin/Head texture (NOT the Muskateer Graphics overlay texture) and go to the menu selection "IMAGE" and then select "IMAGE SIZE"
4) Set the Head/Body texture to the same dimensions as the Muskateer Graphics overlay texture.
5) With the Muskateer Graphics overlay texture selected, go to the menu selection "LAYER" and select "DUPLICATE LAYER..."
6) In the pop-up window, choose to duplicate the layer to the head/body texture that you have decided to overlay.
7) Save the file using a new name in a new location of your choice, as a JPG file.
8) use this new JPG file as the body/head texture for your UNIMESH character in the same way you would any other textures.
===================================
EXPLANATION: The reason I do this is to distribute files that, under normal circumstances, require parts of the body skin to show through the "suit" texture. Examples of this are Supermans chest shows through his costume, Wonderwoman's chest, arms and legs show through hers. And often, items such as the Flash/Atom masks show their skin.
Due to copyright infringement, I cannot under any circumstances, use previously created materials, such as M3's textures from DAZ, and include them in my files. This is illegal, and can bring headaches that Muskateer Graphics just doesn't need. And with due respect to those who supply free Unimesh body or head textures, I would not want my material basterdized, and so chose to supply the textures in this fashion.
The bonus to the user - This allows you to use any head/body texture combination of your choice. Not everyone has the same textures, purchased or otherwise. If i were to use a specific body texture with my superhero characters, you would have to work harder to match head to body, so that no seams appear. Instead, you can choose to use any body, any head textures of your choice. This really works great if you decide to use a male texture on a female Unimesh character. Do you really want to see your female charaacter wearing Supermans texture, showing a heairy chest?
