Well now, this forums looks to be in need of reanimation. Let's see what these hands can do for the time being.

For a while now I have been reading a lot of stuff, as my computer is in the shop with a friend mainboard. So I bought myself a 'few' books and started reading again.

Let's see if I can raise some interest:

While I like a lot of those, my true favorite is Terry Pratchett.

[nod] though "Good Omens" is still my all time favorite book.

While we are talking in here, waiting for others to post, glitch... are you planning on releasing some of the textures that I saw in your images?

I really enjoyed the first 2 David Eddings series I read (The Belgariad and the Malloreon), but I've had a hard time getting myself into "hardcore" fantasy over the past several years. I've been more enjoying work like Neil Gaiman's, which I'd classify as "soft" fantasy, because it's based largely in the real world as opposed to full constructed worlds. My girlfriend forced me to read the first Harry Potter book recently, and it was really good, too.

Jim, if you like it softer, try reading 'the redemption of Althalus', written by David and Leigh Eddings. I think you'll be amused. :)
