For broken links to free items, I suggest you contact the person directly. Animotions does not host the items themselves, only a link to the person's site of choice, so unfortunatly we cannot fix it.
Send them an email or a PM letting them know. Im sure they will be greateful. _________________ =============================

No offense, but It's not my job to notify people that their links are bad. This isn't my website. I "Assumed" the hosts here could delete broken items from their database if they weren't fixable so that people wouldn't waste time on them.

I respect that. But keep in mind, this is a community. The site owners hope that people will help out when possible, such as notifying of improper image postings, improper behaviour in the forums, as well as possible dead links.
If the links are to a freebie, it takes a moment to send a PM. A small moment of a person's time, to help out the team that permits linking to these free files.
The admin's have not only Animotions free area to run, but the store, which is what keeps the sight running, as well as Renderotica and its store. They have a lot of work.
So not to sound harsh, as a member of the community, who obviously enjoys, appreciates, and downloads said free files, where's the harm in sending a message to someone? It really helps the admins and moderators out a lot, saves them having to delete the links, when their time can be spend on more important items, allows the owner of said file to delete their own link or repair it, and keeps this a community.
But if you cant be bothered to send a 5 second PM to someone, well...I understand. _________________ =============================

Whatever. I took 5 seconds out of my time to notify the site admins with my post after spending however much time it took me to realise that every link from that freebie provider was broken and there were none working. That is what the SiteContact forum is for right? You can be as snarky as you want about it but it took you what? Almost 2 months to respond. I'd pretty safely assume that if the Freebie provider was around to PM he'd have noticed this thread himself by now!
Besides, if every link for one particular freebie provider's items are broken, I'd say it's a good bet that that provider has gone the way of the dodo bird and left the net which means it's more likely that the items just need to be deleted from this site's database rather than expect someone who's abandoned his hosting to even still be around to answer a PM from me.
Every link for his freebies is not broken. Only 5 of them were. I've deleted those.
Thanks Aremis for your words. And Mizrael, thanks for the heads up. Although Aremis is right. A note to the providor might have resolved this a lot quicker. I just had to send one myself to ask him to correct his descriptions, since the links are in text, not on the pics. A lot of people don't come into the forums, so you can't assume someone is gone just because they don't notice a forum post.
