Anyone else tried it?
I followed the tutorials and alli get is a figure that has no ability to conform what so ever. You hit conform and it just bunches up in the middle and looks terrible. |

This isn't "Wardrobe Wizard" PhilC's clothing converter I asume? I can help you with that one, but if there's one called "Clothing Converter" then I'm not familiar with it.
Actually, is there anything about loading a skeleton or CR2 into it? That might be why it's not conforming. Sounds like the bones are messed up. _________________ "Flash, quit heckling the supervillain!" - Green Lantern

That is the product in question and now i am wishing that i had spent the extra 20 to buy Wardrobe Wizard. I agree that it is a bone issue but i followed all of the same step detailed in both the tutorial and the manual instructions so there is something missing that is not detailed. Some minute little step. |

Late getting here.
I've used it. In fact I should have purchased it earlier. I used it to convert Aiko3's cool catsuit to V3.
For some clothing items it's not totally automatic, and there is some requisite tweaking that follows.
I guess that you checked out the videos and the tutorial that come with the product? |

I did follow every available tutorial and frankly I have the same problem with the manual and tuts for CC that I have with many online tuts. There is one step missing that they totally leave out in the damn tut.
Even knowing the step, I still have yet to sucessfully convert anything with Clothes Converter, where as with Wardrobe Wizard I have already converted a number of items from my V3 and M3 lib to fit David. |

CC is not a good program. I got it back when they offered on their introductory price, and used a coupon to boot.
I still feel ripped off. Then I got Wardrobe Wizard. Oh my GOD! Not only is it a MUCH better program, it has KILLER support in Philc's forums and is so easy to use!

So what's the consensus on Wardrobe Wizard? At least one person I know enthuses about it.

I use Wardrobe Wizard all the time. Not always to convert clothes to a different character, much of the time it's to fit clothes to a morphed version of the model the clothes were made for.

I didn't realise it could do that. That could be useful.
Sixty dollars. I'd have to sell a model...

| What about the conversion of the older M2 and V2 to all the millennium figures and the other way around? If it works, then this could be something people could really use. |

apparently if you are patient and know all the tricks it can convert almost anything. It lets you use soft selection of the geometry in order to fit the garment. So you should be able to do anything.
Wardrobe Wizard is less able but WAY more user friendly. |

Any program that can let me fit an outfit designed for Michael 3 on Koshini is fine by me.
And yes, I did that with Wardrobe Wizard. It was a little tricky, but it did work. I really like the program - most outfits are easy to convert and tweak. The ones that won't take a one click conversion are still quite doable using the advanced method.
I never used Cloting Converter, but hve heard stories that it's tricky to use. Can't say either way to be honest, but I do highly recommend WW. _________________ "Flash, quit heckling the supervillain!" - Green Lantern
