Front Page news hasn't been updated (from what I can tell) since April. Just wondering if there were plans in the works to change that?

lol, I will soon enough. I'm working on a Hulk model that I may be releasing either for sale or for free (obviously, if I sell it, it won't be the Hulk anymore). Other than that I got nada. It's just that we get the newsletter which has loads of new stuff but the site itself didn't so I found it odd.
I will say that Keron Grant and Richard Friend now have Deviant Art accounts, so if you've ever wanted to tell them how cool their comic book art was and get a reply, now's the time... |

| Oh, there is one bit of news from e frontier...Anime Studio's been released. So anyone looking to make cartoons off their heroes may want to give it a go. I haven't had the chance to use a recent version (I only played with the beta) but it's pretty cool to see the stuff done with it. |

Sweetness. Missed that. Okay, good to know. See...we do read the front page (at least here anyway).
Now, back to the Hulk...and Grundy. |

I always wondered about that.
Anybody have AnimeStudio to do a review? |

I may be getting the final version but right now I have an old beta, so it's not an accurate idea of what the program can do. If I get it before you guys get a review together, I'll see about writing one up. |

Im considering getting it - Im on the fence about it. Not a lot of details about bringing in my own work (Ala Poser), and animating it using their bone structure.
When I lern more, I may break down and shell out the cash. _________________ =============================

| I can tell you it's possible to do. you can take in the 3D object or you can take in a render of the 3D character in a default pose and rig it. The only problem is that the model, once imported, gets treated like a 2D element, if I recall, and thus, you may need to re-rig if angles need to change drastically. Again, this is on an old beta. They may have worked more flexibility into the final. |

Oh good. I've been curious about it but I won't have time to sit down with the demo for at least another month. _________________ "Flash, quit heckling the supervillain!" - Green Lantern
