April Challenge ideas needed

Taking a short list for challenge ideas since I am behind with the broken arm and all.

Thought of a couple of things.

Golden Age of comics, either an update or a homage
The Dead ... Characters that are dead but maybe shouldn't be and will be back

I like the Dead idea - But maybe, add a "no Cap" stipulation. Too soon =). And boring to see dozens of Caps posted =).

What about supernatural and magic users heroes/vilains ?
There is quit a lot of in different comics (Dr Fate, Zatanna, Hellboy,...).

another idea is sidekicks (robin, rick jones,...)

How about we go with the Cap theme - different characters taking up the Captain America mantle. Kind of like the "PunisherCap" and "IronCap" images that have been seen.

Or, if that's not to people's taste

My thought on this would be to have a challenge where past, present and future collide. The challenge could have one or more categories ranging from Comic Book characters to their vehicles or their equipment or maybe even their places of sanctuary. Or have this challenge based on some other category.

I haven't been following the challenges too closely, so forgive me if this has been done to death, but a team-up of any 2 characters from anywhere in comicdom but related by name - like Doc Savage and Doctor Strange, Mister Miracle and Mr. Monster, Flash Gordon and the Flash, Maus and Die Fledermaus, the Beetle and Blue Beetle - well, I'm sure that people can come up with better examples than this (I'm quite under the weather right now - not that I'd do any better when healthy). When I was a kid just getting into comics in the 70's my favorite title was Marvel Team-up - maybe it was all those Gil Kane covers...
