| I have Daz Studio. How do I use the Superbelt that's found in the free section and use it on my figure in the scene? Can someone help me please? Thank you. |

I dont use Daz | Studio at all. What exactly is the problem youre experiencing? Since it's a prop, you should be able to place it in your Runtime library (Or D|S's equivalent - read the manual for the name of it), and be able to load it in D|S.
I will test it out tomorrow evening for you in D|S, if I get a chance to. _________________ =============================

That's just the thing. I went to preferences, then browsed for the belt, then linked to to it and added it to my poser directory in D/S. I now see the folder for the belt in D/S but no picture of the belt, nor any way to activate the belt prop and load it into the scene. The best way I can describe this is that D/S is only loading a folder with the same name as the Superbelt but with nothing inside the folder. That's what I'm experiencing.
I hope you do get the chance, it'd be very much appreciated.
Thank you for the reply! |

Well Christian22179,
I have not used Daz Studio in a very long time...
But from what I can recall from the program before the massive updates they have made to the interface etc. is that if your installing the file straight to Daz than no you won't see the files being their are no .png's for refs but you can do one of two things! But even if you have a .png file you will not see it being the program does not know what it is yet!!!!
First off if you can Load the file by doing the following: Goto File Import what ever folder you have placed it in, then click on the belt example Super Belt.pp2 to load the prop into Daz.
Or 2nd the way I remember is you need to ref. the program to a runtime folder say Poser if you have that installed? If not were ever your putting that folder that has the Files in it?
(This is your best way of doing it that way it is all ways their until you uninstall the program or delete the folder)
This is how to do it: Go to Edit click on Preferences (F2), Then click on your Directories Tab, (You should see a pull down saying DAZ|Studio Content Directories) Pull Tab down click Other if you do not have a Poser Runtime Folder! (Other Import Content Directories) is the one you want!
Now do this: Click on the Add button, followed by
Directory Example (desktop, Folder Hasdrubal Belts, Hero Belts, just highlight folder. Now click Ok! this is an example of what will apper in the box now (C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Desktop\beltpack01hasdrubal\Hero Belts)
Highlight that and click Apply, then click Accept.
Their you go that should work for you now!?! if not let me know and I will try to explain it better for you! If it worked you will see any content added now in you Folder-Tab layout. _________________ "The Earth is the cradle of the mind but one cannot remain in the cradle forever."
