Here is a mesh of Brainiac I have started. I am hoping for some input. I'm far enough along to start posting WIP images. But not so far along that modifications can't be done, lol. Any suggestions?

All I can say is WOW!
From what I recall, I think the front of the skull as a whole should be a little more outer rounded...if that makes sense...a little flat shown here. More a real skull shape, with te mech look. But still great work _________________ =============================

Hey, I'm impressed! It's been a long time since I've seen this incarnation of Brainiac (ah, the good ol' Superpowers days!), but from what I remember, this is quite close. Are you planning for a full poseable figure, or will this be a replacement head for an existing figure? _________________ Jim Harnock - ODS

It will be a fully poseable figure, if I can pull the joint parameters off, lol. God, I hate those damn things =). I've always liked this version of the character. I bought the recently released action figure for reference and made some adjustments to the lower face to widen it a bit. I'm working on the cpu casing now. Once the shape is where I want it, I will "redraw" the mesh for it in Silo. As long as the mesh is set up correctly, there won't be a need for bump maps, and the mesh can stay fairly light. Here is an update...

I have started on the body. It is still fairly faithful to the source material.

Woah - I didnt realize you were doing the full figure - Thought it was just going to be the head, like his space ship. Too sweet! _________________ =============================

It is almost done. I still need to finish assigning materials and to group and rig the figure. I may do a redesign on the legs. So far , that is the only thing I am unhappy with, lol.

Here is a test run with maps applied. Some materials still are unassigned.

| Just a quick update. The JPs are finished, except for the hands and fingers...if I can get them to play nice, I will post it in the freebie section. |
