Greetings,friends!
I've been using Poser for a while, now, but trying to avoid the material room as much as i can  (looked kinda scary,at the beginning)so i guess i'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to that section...
So,recently i installed MG's Supes texture and used it on M3,but i always get a white collar from the pectoral area up,covering almost all of the neck area, and i can't seem to get rid of it,no matter what adjustments i make in the material room...well,at least not without darkening the whole skin torso section(ruining the color of the uniform)..Can any1 provide me with a solution for this?tks in advance! :D

PS:The Superman node included in the zip file from MG's graphics is supposed to be used as a bump map, right?

PS #2:This is my first post :)

Your options are...

Photoshop the texture over a Skin you like.
Or...

Go through Node hell and learn how to knock out the white sections with a mask. (Which may still require some Photoshop work.)

If you don't have Photoshop, check out GIMP. Does 95% of the same stuff for free.

http://www.gimp.org/windows/

There is also GIMPshop which is a version GIMP designed to feel more like Photoshop.

http://blog.yumdap.net/archives/43-GIMPshop-2.2.8-for-Windows-released.html

As far as the node approach, I'll try and find some links for you, or you can just look for them in R'osity.

tks for the help,Ratteler, but i managed to solve it the easy way...just resized M3 skin texture to match MG's Supes one, pasted it as a new layer(using Photoshop) and that did it...lol,can't believe i didn't remembered this right at the start...guess i thought MG's texture would fit Michael instantly...once again, tks for all ur help,Ratteler!take care

PS:Mods, feel free to close this thread,i found a solution for my problem..tks!

Unfortunatly, in order to make textures that require skin to be shown (such as Superman with his upper chest), those textures had to be made as overlays, since 1) I am no permitted to include M3 skin textures in whole or in part in any of my freebies and 2) The texture for superman should be compatible with any users skin texture, since not everyone has the same ones. If I had painted in a chest, then it would seldom match a users head texture.

Glad to hear you figured out how to do it in PS.
