In the past I've had no problems exporting from Poser 4 to Lightwave as a LWO or OBJ file, so as of today I've begun to work with Poser 5 and its latest features especially Strand Based Hair and so far the export results are horrible. Once the poser export is loaded into lightwave, I seem to get at best distorted polygons on the figure surface, and distortion of the hair effect in Poser 5.
Does anyone out there have any info on this? Has Curious labs left this translation out for future Poser Pro Pack updates?

As far as I know, the strand based hair is for use only in Poser 5, unfortunately. I could be wrong. Just received it myself.

I can't remember whther I read it in the P5 manual or somewhere else, but the hair generated in the P5 hair room cannot be exported to any other format. From what I understand, it's not REALLY a geometry so much as it is a type of material setting.
