OK...since I got Poser 5 I have been working exclusively with M3 and V3.
Im going back to M2 to work on some animation pieces I need, and wanted to remove the lashes, brows ears ect, like I use to in P4.
When I choose the morph, which was the original Traveller's hero morphs I believe, I seems to accept it fine, but in the parameters window, there's only the standard M2 morphs showing.
Anyone else experience this? Is it P5? Are the morphs no longer useable in P5? |

| I've noticed in P-4 some of the V3 body morphs work, and some of them don't. It might be worth opening some of the morph injection files with Notepad to see if the path and file addresses are correct. |

I noticed that with M3 and V3 in Poser 4 as well, which is why I switched to Poser 5 finally.
But this is using Mike 2 with old Morph .OBJ files.
Would that have the same problem since they arent morph injections like M3 and V3?
They still correspond to the same body part (In tis case, its the no lashes, no nose and no ears morphs for M2 that I want to incorporate into a figure for my animation) |

| This doesn't sound like a fun one to fix. You might set up your animation in P-4, save as a .pz3, and then render the animation in P-5. I did a 4 minute long video that way (due to other program glitches). It took 2 months to finish, but it worked in the end. |

| with the M3 update, didn't it replace the original M2 obj file? I can't remember, if so that may be the cause........ |

OK...so that means that isnt the problem. So back to the drawing board to figure out why the morphs will not load into M2 anymore.
Darn it... _________________ =============================

| Hmm If you can load the morphs and send me the Cr2 file, even if it's a stripped down one. Will take alook at it and see what I can figure out. |

After a lengthy discussion with many of the Macintosh Users on DAZ's forum, they pointed me towards another discussion over on Rosity (Which I dont visit the forums there).
Seems you need to modify the morphs directly before using them in Poser 5.
You need to add a line after all the V lines, as in he example below.
The F line is what you add. This has made all my morphs load properly. From what I understand, it involves something to do with validation of the file being inserted into the character.
Either way, it works.
v -0.00827163 0.635433 0.041891
v -0.00820857 0.63581 0.0426039
v -0.0121407 0.635551 0.0394929
f 1/1 2/2 3/3 4/4 _________________ =============================
