It is a world not much different from our own. It is a world where those with power are not afraid to use it and the person walking next to you could very well be hundreds of years old and you would never know it. In this world exist three. . . .
Three who have dedicated their existence to maintaining balance between chaos and order. Hathor, Ramesses, Saqqara, they are the the EGYPTIAN TRIAD and these are their tales. Blessed with immortality and abilities beyond compare, they are quite capable of protecting their homeland. But, it won't be easy . . . . . .
www.EgyptTriad.com is the home of a my ongoing 3d comic book series. Issues 1 and 2 are already up and running(both over 25 pages in length) with issue 3 on the way(it's gonna be a doozy). So enjoy and let me know what you all think.

Excellent work.
If you don't mind, what program do you render in? I think I see some Global Illumination in there. |

I do all my rendering in 3d studio max using Vray Global Illumination. Good eye to notice that too. _________________ Live Life Immortal

| Thanks. Just pure curiosity, do you use the Reiss-Studio plugin? |

The Reiss Studio Plugin? I'm not familiar with that name. What does it do? _________________ Live Life Immortal

| It's a good looking program. I do things the old fashioned way. A good ole exporting of the .obj files. Although I have recently taken a look at GestureMax, which seems to do a similar thing. |

Hey!
I was wondering whether You're going to post here... I've been reading Your work since it I found it at onlinecomics.net
Cool looking and (IMHO) the art is getting better and better from panel to panel!
I have some tricky questions, though: Wasn't Hathor a female goddess (two shapes: a cow and a female with cow horns)? And isn't Karnak a name of a temple, not a god? Anyway, it's Your alternate universe, but as I'm quite into the Egypt-things;) I can't help but ask... |

| You are correct on both points. hathor is the name of the female goddess of fertility. And he has a fun explanation of why he's named that which he will explain, when he feels like it. And as for karnak, that too was the name of a temple....in our time. And in many written text is described as the "largest area of architectual chaos". But since we're not sure just how old our evil Karnak is, makes one wonder, was he named after the temple, or was the temple named after him?......hehehe. |

Oh... Great point with Karnak!
Well, I guess I'd wait patiently for the next issue...
Good job on the music side of the project, btw. |

Ahh, you noticed the music. The ones posted are small excerpts from their longer versions, which will be part of the Egyptian Triad Theme Music CD. Currently it's projected for 18 themes but in all honesty is probably going to end up being larger than that. _________________ Live Life Immortal

Is the music Your own composition? If so, do you record it, or have it composed on a computer? _________________ ----

| I compose it myself by playing into my computer, then when it's all done compressing it into an mp3 format. |

i like the story but the lighting is a bit odd. Maybe it is because i am not a supporter of global lighting as is tends to make everything look like legos. Did you realize that one of your characters has a seam on his head? You also have close ups of several characters that have bump maps but no trans maps for the lashes. . .It really is a good story and some very good visual stroy telling but you are just touch off of being done. . .sorta not polished. i have been looking forward to the story for a while and dont mean to pick at you but those little bits are way noticable.
keep up the good work though. |

oh it's not picking at all. Yea, Richard has an ugly seam on his head. I knew he was evil, but grotesque? You'd think with all the money he makes he could afford some concealer...hahaaha.
At the time I was so pressed to get it out for other reasons(too numerous to mention) that as much as i hated it, i had to publis it, seam and all. But since issue 1 and 2 I've been able to take the time to get the eyelash transmaps and such done so no more seams should seep through the cracks and lo and behold, real eyebrows and eyelashes...lmao. Thanks for the support and keep your eyes open for issue 3, it's just a few days away. I'll post to let everyone know when it's up. _________________ Live Life Immortal
