|
|
| Marvel periodically puts out Marvel universe type things that have descriptions and stats and pictures for the heroes and villans in the universe and I was wondering if DC had one. I think the DC website has the secret files which has a quick version but I am wondering if there is soemthing else. Thanks |

DC used to put out a book called "DC Who's Who" which contained vital stats, origin stories and power details of their characters. I have no idea how many issues ended up being in the series, but I have one issue and it served as a template for YEARS of my own superhero creations This was a while ago, though, and I haven't seen any mention of the Who's Who series since the early `90s. _________________ Jim Harnock - ODS

| Yeah, I have a bunch of the marvel ones from the 80s that have served me well but I have only seen the DC ones a long time ago. |

Now that I think about it, DC has started putting out Secret Files issues for some stuff. I picked up a Green Lantern Secret Files last month, and I recall seeing a Superman/Batman Secret Files issue a few months ago. I think there was a Teen Titans one as well. _________________ Jim Harnock - ODS

DC's Who's Who ran for over twenty issues, with some great art by people like Gil Kane and Eduardo Barretto. Unfortunately, it collided with Crisis and became out-of-date almost instantly. It's still good for dipping into, just to see what real comics and characters used to be like.
