Recommend Software for new user

Hi, I'm new at using poser, and pretty much I want to jump at making dynamic clothes and garments (scarfs, hanks, etc.)... can anyone tell me what good software can I use to make one from scratch? (including everything; cr2's, obj's, etc)

Including any tutorials how to make a dynamic clothing

I currently have poser 5, zbrush 2, and 3ds max 5

If you know 3ds max, use it to make stuff.

Poser makes the CR2 files itself, so really all you need is something that will create OBJ files. Anim8or and Wings3D are free modeling programs that can export OBJ files, so those would be a good starting point.

There are tutorials at http://www.CuriousLabs.com on making existing clothing dynamic. I don't know off-hand about any clothing-modeling tutorials.

I think philc offers a tutorial cd for modeling clothes not sure if it is free or cost money though.
