Got an interesting problem. I was working on a project, saved and closed down for the day. When I fired it up again the next day, I couldn't make two of the figures show, even though they appear in the list of figures. I can do everything except actually see the damn thing! The dials all work, I can access all the body parts, they show up in the hierarchy editor (and yes, they are set visible). They just won't show in the working window, nor will they render. Any idea what's going on? Thanks for any help. _________________ "Take sides! Always take sides! You may be wrong - but the man who refuses to take sides must always be wrong! If you are using Poser 4, sometimes a corrupted obj rsr will do that. Try deleting them. Poser will rebuild them when you open the file.
I went looking and there doesn't appear to be any .RSR files. If I remember aright, those are for props; this is the 30-link chain figure, from gbdevo on Renderosity. All it has is a .CR2 and a .OBJ file (well, there's also a .PNG for the figure list)...
Anyway, I'm going to try copying all the dial settings, delete the item completely from the .PZ3 file, then put it in afresh, and see what happens. _________________ "Take sides! Always take sides! Did you remember to turn the universe back on after finishing with the hierarcy window?
Yup. Not sure what the hell I did, but I've buggered it for fair some how... _________________ "Take sides! Always take sides! You may be wrong - but the man who refuses to take sides must always be wrong! Heaven save us from poltroons who fear to make a choice." - Robert A. Heinlein, "Double Star"
