For those of you interested in zombie films, by all means, take a look at "Shaun of the Dead"! It debuts on Sept. 24th. Last week I had the sheer pleasure of seeing a sneak preview and it was superb. I won't seed any spoilers here (of course), but I can tell you that it fits in well with the George Romero Dawn of the Dead series. It ISN'T part of that series, but it works in a contemporary "Meanwhile, in England" way. Its well cast, well directed, well written and well edited. Its funny. VERY funny. But not only that, its got some great action, and touching drama. Oh, and did I mention the zombies?

For traditional Romero-type zombiphiles, I read that Romero will release part four in the DotD series called "Land of the Dead" Oct 21st, 2005. I hope it has zombies in it.

I wanted to see it today, but the closest theater with it is a 2 hour highway drive away.

That make a toalt time investment of 6 hours, just to see a movie.

I wish it had created theatrical release.
