........ can anyone help with this.
I have been looking for tutorials on creating props using 3DSMax for use with Poser, and how to make them morth into different positions. For example making a simple chair with a back that can be positioned.
Would anyone have any links to suitable tutorials?
Secondly if you dont mind, 3DSMax I am getting on with slowly but is there alternative programs that have an easier learning curve, or should I carry on with it, the objects I plan are fairly simple.
As for the modeling, I personally use Wings3D for it's ease of use, it's low learning curve and the high quality models you can turn out with it. Here is the address: http://www.wings3d.com/
The download link is in the upper left corner where it says Latest Stable Rel: 0.98.32a
Just choose your system and download. If you click on the community link at the top of the page and go to forums you will find a couple of useful links to forums that will help you as well.

Although I use Wings as well for some work, and Ani8tor for other stuff, my main modelling tool is now Shade, from the people who brought us Poser (And made junkies out of us all).
The reason I use it is I can swap back and forth between Shade, where I can set up the prop/figure, morphs and everything, and back into Poser in the blink of an eye to test it out. _________________ =============================

Thx again for info Aremis, I guess I have become a junkie too, but still keeping everything relatively simple at the moment. As to designing new models I haven't moved forward any more just been concentrating on making some skins and textures and posing.
Will take a look at Shade though and see whether it looks easier for my basic purposes, as I say I don't want to make really complex items at the moment mainly simple props. I grabbed Wings but not installed it yet.
