when i render animation with poser 5, it takes a long time and if i try to preview within the program it runs choppy. i have a p4 2.4 with a gb of ram, and 220 gb hard drive, and of course xp pro, plus a 120 video card. am i doing something wrong in my rendering or is it just that slow?

~are u multitasking whilst p5'ing?

~have you tried getting memory fix from Curious labs?
this fix re apportions its ability to use sys resources/capacity

~are you running antivirus or firewall at the same time?
they can cause resource allocations conflicts

- try turning them /or any other uncritical apps running in background OFF

~ have you tried changing your render prefs ?
- playing with different combinations might help [at least whilst you are still in scene production stages] - lower settings increase resources
@that way when you are ready to rock & roll to your final destination *flash* clickNsnap : all thrusters ready: engage your WARP final render settings and fly!
[change them to the higher render settings]@ :P ;-p
