I need a favour from someone who has 3D Studio MAX 4 or higher. I have a model in MAX format that I need exported as an OBJ file, but I don't have any software that will read MAX files. If anyone can help, please let me know and I can email the file (it's 1.2 MB).

try to bring it into poser and then export the file out again if it is a standard 3ds file or try shade to see if that would work.

It's a 3D Studio Max 4 ".max" file. None of the 3D software I have can open that file type, Poser and Shade included.

I have someone working on it for me in Max4, though.
