There are quite wonderfull artists here that make such incredible art that I just am doumbfounded how you guys achieve the level of art that you do. Could you guys post at least an indicaTION HOW TO START IF YOU DONT WANT TO GIVE AWAY TRADE SECRETS? :) What software, what type of textures if any you guys use that kind of thing. Or like some of you have posted some tutorials for comic book geeks like me.

Are you talking about creating a completed image, or creating a character? If you mean an image, I have one in the planning stages that I could try to turn into a tutorial.

Did you still want help?

I use Poser 6 for most of my work these days, along with PhotoShop and Illustrator for textures and designs. The little bit of modeling I do, comes from Cararra.

I don't do modelling myself....yet, but creating the textures is fairly easy to do with Photoshop, provided you have either the template or UVmapper.
