Now - First off - This old Macintosh addict has finally...and I mean FINALLY broken down, and paid...yes, PAID, for a product created by *shudder*...Microsoft.
I bought the Xbox360 today.
And I added the Oblivion game to it.
And I have to say - It rocks (The game, not just the console).

So I wanted to open this up for the gamers out there, to come and discuss their thoughts and perceptions on the game (NOT THE CONSOLE).

Talk about what you like about the game - Hate about the game - What class of character you prefer, and why - Whatever strikes your fancy.

And if you are really REALLY into the game (I skipped out of work early to get home and start playing it today - 3pm start time, stopped 10 minutes ago to write this - And going right back to it), then touch base with me, and add me to your friends list on Xbox Live.

I went with the cheaper version, pc, been playing some off and on and yes the game is incredible, much better than the previous ones.

Dark elf battle mage...the only way to go! :twisted:

Nah - Super Thief =). I have a built-in light source that lights my way without use of magik, and loaded down with Glass armor and enhanced glass and ebony weapons =).
Pretty damn cool game though. Havent done much but play 'round the clock lol.

Haven't played it yet .. Really hated Morrowind but maybe Oblivion is better. Morrowind was just sooooo boring and ugly (true that I played it later, but still).

morrowind did get pretty boring, oblivion I think is a much better game..same principal but better, and it looks alot better

How are the controls on it? I wasn't a fan of Morrowind's controls either. I still will have to wait a while since I dont have a 360 yet but I am wondering.

Coming from a non-gamer (I own 2 games for PS2, and only 1 for the 360), and not having a gift for PC games, in the sense of a million keyboared controls - I can say the controls for this game are pretty damn good.

Right trigger for attack- left trigger for block - right button for magic/scrolls ect, one button to bring up maps/check inventory etc. All is really well slimmed down, so I love it.
