This is a concept shot of most of the main characters in my Superman novel as they will appear later on in the series of novels I have planned. This is a debut image for my slightly revised Superman model as well (the face has been improved slightly and the hairstyle has changed).
I'm also experimenting with an original (I think) method of creating a realistic parents/offspring look in Poser. I like to call it "feature-complexion alternation." The Super-Son (right middleground), has exactly the same facial features as his father (foreground). All I did was take Clark's face, set the "HdYoung" morph dial to 0.5 and changed the color of his hair and eyes to match those of his mother Lois (left foreground). With the Supertwins, I did just the opposite. I started with Lois' head, set the "HdYoung" morph dial to 0.5, and changed her hair and eye color to match those of Clark. I think it's an effective way of making sure that characters intended to have a parent-child relationship actually appear related in some way or another. The rule of thumb is that any child should have features identical to those of the same-gender parent, but those features should be colored/toned to match those of the opposite-gender parent. Changing hairstyles is optional.
