The Mission pick two teams consisting of 7 charecters (one for DC and another for Marvel or just do one) to form what you think would make a great team. The rest who don't want to play along say why the team would or wouldn't work.
My DC Team: Legacy United
Leader: Nightwing
Hector Hall: Dr. Fate
Power Girl
The Ray (not the new one...what happened to Leather Jacket wearing Ray after the Freedom Force bit it?)
Brainwave Jr.
Atom Smasher
Fury
Well these guys for the most part do meld, especially since the Infinity Inc is where more than half come from, but all of them are quite differenent from those days. I included Fury because she's Hector's wife, Thunder (of the Outsiders) would have been a better choice but I put the limit on 7 so might as well stick to my own rules and Fury is redundent with Power Girl there. Nightwing as a leader...no brainer, I think DC should do something with him as I suggested in the Justice Lords post, he's the only Major DC charecter to go through any big changes (costume, name...hell he actually got older)

I dare someone to write a story about a meeting between these two teams.
My Marvel team would be
The Watcher (He can jump into other universes, ignore everyone, or contact alternate versions of himself)
Howard the Duck (For common sense, and universe jumping)
The Valkyrie (For really impressive silver boobies)
Original version of Ms. Marvel (Sexiest hero babe ever)
The Man-Thing (Just for gruesomeness)
Captain Mar-Vell (For having the good sense to stay dead)
The Elf with a Gun (For obscurity, and to probably betray the others)
My DC team would be
Mxyzptlk (Can jump into other universes and destroy them)
Bat-Mite (Stupid enough to be tricked into anything)
Krypto (A dog's gotta' do what a dog's gotta' doo)
Phantom Lady (To get knocked on the head and tied up a lot)
Jimmy Olsen (He's out of the closet again)
Princess Projectra (How does her costume stay on?)
Braniac 5 (He may discover a cure for his backed up kidneys)
