| I am going to say that this weeks will be the B-listers. Anyone that sort of is a bit off the main lists but might have had a book, etc. Ghost Rider was sort of what started my thoughts. A bit obscure for a full movie but he works. Martian Manhunter might work. He is a major player but doesn't get a lot of notice, quite often. Anyone that isn't Superman, Batman, X-Men or Spiderman, etc. So here is your chance for for giving some exposure to a B-list hero or villain. Thanks and good luck. |

| We now have a separate gallery for the Monthly Challenge. Post your entries there. It would be a good idea to put the month in the title because I'm not going to make a new gallery each month. |

| No problem. Sorry it took me so long. I meant to do it earlier and it completely slipped my mind. |

I need to study up the old comics. there are so many B-heroes that I don't know. Almost everybody here is an expert, you must have read a lot of comics.
I did manage to find a Ghost rider comic though, in an almost 3D photo-realistic style, concerned with Heaven and Hell, whist traveling along on a desert road.... |

| Just run the people by us if you have any questions. I am no big expert but I am curious and often wonder who someone is if I haven't really seen them before. |

Ok, so I'm thinking of doing John Constantine, of Hellblazer fame. I know there was that film about him a couple of years ago, but he's still not really an 'a' list hero, is he? Would he count?
Failing that, I might try for the trenchcoat brigade from the Books of Magic - yes, I know John's one of them, but I can't help it, alright? lol

DC certainly seems to make this easier than Marvel. Aside from the core JLAers, which already includes the big three, they have few if any real A-Listers.
Marvel, on the other hand, has the core "It just ain't right if these are missing" Avengers members, the FF, the X-Men, Spidey, MAYBE Doctor Strange. That's a lot more warm bodies. |

Ah. Me too. I was kind of watching the "Should we?"/"Shouldn't we?" and never got around to taking a side in it. ;] |

Yep .. It is a lot easier for DC .. they have more characters and don't cross-polinate them as much so you can read a book without seeing them (sort of like you can't do without seeing wolverine).
I would probably consider Doctor Strange a B-lister ... He sort of fits oddly into the scheme of things, he has lots of guest appearances but only because people are like "Magic .. Dr. Strange can fix it" because they can't think of other things. He is sort of like Dr. Fate in DC. |
