I just used black smith 3d the other day and its really awesome. U can directly morph poser models and poke and pinch them in any way. Also you can paint on the model itself and create colors, textures etc. But the problem is that the share ware version doesn't allow you to save or export ur creations. I cant afford the $150 purchase. Anyone know a software similar to this but cheaper?

Unfortunatly, from what I have seen in the years I have been doing this, thats the cheapest youre going to find for the major bang you get with the application.
Keep it mind, you can also purcahse the individual applications, and not required to buy the entire suite of programs.
Its well worth the investment though. _________________ =============================

Aremis is right. Other programs that do similar things will cost you several times as much.

Have you considered Hexagon from DAZ? Not only is it a nice vertex modeler that's pretty reasonable, it also can do some fairly advanced UV mapping and 3D Painting stuff.

Hexagon is very good for sure - But the painting abilities in the new program are far superior - Unfortunatly, its gone way up in price, so no longer the great buy it was. _________________ =============================

I can see your point Aremis my friend... Hexagon isn't the deal it used to be, but compared to some of the other modeller/paint programs out there I'd still say it's a cheap deal.

You are quite right about that, when you do compare it to some other programs. HExagon is quite versatile I myst say. _________________ =============================
