So, it mid dicember, and many of us will be gone in the last days of the month, so I guess starting right now to pick the theme it's not too early :)

Here are the choices:

* characters who should be dead but aren't
* Sidekicks
* Gender Benders!
* Golden Age of comics, either an update or a homage
* fake move posters for unpopular movie oscar awards
* Cap theme - different characters taking up the Captain America mantle. Kind of like the "PunisherCap" and "IronCap"
* "Team Ups That Would Never Happen"
* future civilizations. Not only high tech but different
* Star Wars characters based on Superheroes.
* Sin City style
* You as a superhero.
* Animotions Members as superheroes
* Cosplay or Realistic Anime Characters (Pick an anime character and making it like it would be if played in Live-action :)
* Anime-like version of heroes and villains
* Superhero Pets/animals. Pick a hero and create a pet. Krypto would be the perfect example.
* Superheroic Sports
* Pulp Heroes (Doc Savage, The Shadow, The Phantom, Tarzan, Mandrake, etc...)
* Swimsuit edition (Marvel used to do this once in a while, why not us? :P)
* Characters that are dead but shouldn't be
* Second chance: An old challenge theme revisited for those who couldn't complete their image and/or had an idea for it after it finished.
* Formerly known as (heroes who had different identities over the years)
* Pulp style hero team ups, or Golden age teams.
-----------------------------------
New themes (I'll add whatever comes up):
* Superheroes on vacation
* Recreating a classic/famous scene or cover
* Sidekicks

Voting will be updated as it goes along.

My votes:

* Sin City Style
* Star Wars character based on Superheroes
* Super Heroic Sports

Voting so far:

Sin City Style=3
Team up that would never happen=2
Star Wars Characters based on superheroes=2
swimsuit edition=2
Super heroic sports, anime-like version of heroes and villains, future civilizations, Pulp heroes, Captain America Theme, sidekicks=1

My votes are for:

* Sin City style
* future civilizations. Not only high tech but different
* "Team Ups That Would Never Happen"

(or the mixed up combination of:

"Sin City Style Future Teamups That Could Only Happen in Different, Not Necessarily High Tech, Civiilzations"

;-)

Maybe for February we could do something like recreating a classic comic book cover or famous scene?

So, it looks like the January Challenge is "Sin City Style"

So take Marv and the gang and render them up or show us what Captain America (on anyone else) would look like in a noir, rain drenched world of black and white.
