|
|
Though I've not seen anything like it on this site, I wonder if anyone has ever fallen across a Poser model of Iron Man's "Extremis" suit as seen in the "Civil War" comics.
I'd settle for a movie version, if possible.
I'm willing to pay back anyone who can help me out with something very, very unusual and unavailable anywhere else:
A 3D Model of Gamera, from Japanese Kaiju movies.

Hello,
You should take a look at Scott Ayers free meshes :
http://www.morphography.uk.vu/dlscott.html
There is an ankylosaurus with is quite close to gamera. There is also meshes of various dinosaure and japanimation monsters (godzilla, gabera,...) |

^ I don't think you read my post, Alf.
I was offering a Gamera model that I had made myself in RETURN for an Iron Man model in the "extremis" design.
Thanks! |

Don't feel bad. I am an english speaker and the way he broke up his post with images and phrased it I got the same impression that he was indeed looking for a Gamera mesh. _________________ If knowledge can create problems, it is not through ignorance that we can solve them. - Isaac Asimov

I agree, Alf. I thought the same exact thing, and I am English lol.
As for an Iron Man from either the movies, or the latest from the comic book. No one has made one for Poser whatsoever. Rattler's Golden Age one is the best Iron Man on the market today - I believe he's still working on it, so no idea if he will add morphs to get the movie look or not.
The closest was an individual who modeled an amazing one, posted over at the Daz3D forums (Just an Image), but he has no plans to release it. Was not modeled for Poser. Although I did send emails offering to convert it to a mesh for M3, or a standalone figure by itself, it won't be released.
If you made that Gamera figure, why not try making the Iron Man you want as well? _________________ =============================

Looks good from what I can see. Where'd you find him? Is it just an image you found? _________________ =============================

^ It's a 3DS Model that some guy made as a texturing example.
It used to be available for free somewhere, but the links are all broken... Now that I've got all of your attention (because come on... who doesn't want this guy) lets do some massive searching to find it.
It's got to be somewhere on the web.
If we find it, I'll be more than happy to rig it as a standalone figure.

Looks great. Even better than the one from Daz.
Shame these people don't post for download. I could easilly turn that into a M3 set, or rig it as a stand along figure to use M3 poses. _________________ =============================

Also, which DAZ item do you mean? |

Does he state he made it for download? Not everyone makes their items downloadable all the time unfortunately.
And it's not a DAZ item per se. There's a thread in the forums at Daz for Comic book fans - one guy made an incredible Iron Man figure, posted some cool images, but is not willing to share the figure. _________________ =============================

If he has an email addy, that might be the only way to go, depending how long ago he made it for a free download. _________________ =============================

I found a couple of great modelers that have made some 3D Studio Max versions - just waiting to hear back from them _________________ =============================
