Rumor: Cher is to play CATWOMAN in the next Batman film.

I'm shaking my head here. It is not the good shake.

The current trend is for Frank Miller grit and grime so it won't matter... following Miller's treatment of women characters what will happen to her won't be pretty... whomever plays her.

Was Michelle Pfeiffer really a step up? Near anorexic. Portrayed as a psych patient needing a Prozac refill.

Halle Berry... a woman with no attitude?

Kim Cattrell is Catwoman in Sex and the City if Hollywood only knew it.

Angelina Jolie would pout her lips and be Angelina. Cher can't be any worse.

In this age of Frank Millerism it'll most likely be a sledge hammer to the head like he thinks all powerful women deserve... or maybe a good Alan Moore rape and paralytic gunshot trauma?

Give me a portrayal of Catwoman as...hmm... um.... how about... CATWOMAN..?

The fictional version of a totally independent woman...

that scares the hell out of a lot of people though... so...

Cher...no Miley Cyrus...more like it :(

This is just rumor mill stuff from a rather unreliable source.

We don't even know if Nolan has decided to direct a third installment. Cher might be dead by then.

For most of you, Cher is old enough to be your grandma, but it's still discouraging that she would still be out of your league if you asked her for a date.

The Paul Shaffer imitation of Cher would be about right for some of you.

What can I say? Twenty goes into eighty easier than eighty goes into twenty. :bootyshake:

I prefer 40 going into two 20's... or three 18's.

I'll bet you've never seen Cher as Laverne the trashy laundry-mat lady. If the directors are trying to create Catwoman as a comedy character, they may have the best choice.

Here's a link with a picture of Laverne in all of her glory.
