My first superheroic character post.
Meet Scorpia - a WIP chracter for "Avatar", my perrenially "in the works, never finished" graphic novel project. ;]
As lovely as a flame, as cold blooded as a snake - a corporate hired-gun: freelance assassin.
The body suit is a symbiotic implant: it can assume the texture and appearence of the background terrain, and/or assume the texture and appearence of normal skin with merely a subconcious thought. The lady has numerous built-in weapons, plus she's a living biochemical factory.
Various elements: the body suit started out as a cybersuit texture by nikitcreed before I warped it in photoshop. The cyberhand is by Styxx, the hair by Alla and the clothing items are from Xurge and RDNA.
I'll post a more fully worked out image in WIP gallery later... _________________ "I'd add a legitimate comment here, but that would mean reading everything, which I have no patience for." - Slynky

| Lovely render, and a really good looking character. I love the subtle reflective quality of her costume. One thing, though; her insignia is somewhat obscured by her other, um, assets... |

Thanks.
Yeah, Joseph, noticed that. That's kind of why she's still "WIP" stage. I'm trying to figure out how to place that insignia so it doesn't get swallowed up in the er.. valleys. ;]
Got any ideas? I kept it on a seperate PSD layer so I can move it around and size it. _________________ "I'd add a legitimate comment here, but that would mean reading everything, which I have no patience for." - Slynky

that the point. It would look nice.. and not be crunched into between her chest..on the other hand, the scorpian might like it there.. beware of the stinger! _________________ Dana Haywood

It was the "Pardon me miss, but there's something crawling up your leg... " that cracked me up. ;] _________________ "I'd add a legitimate comment here, but that would mean reading everything, which I have no patience for." - Slynky

*snicker*
Heh... I'd actually planned to duplicate the emblem on a set of thigh boots, but the non standard leg dimensions stumped me: on Vicki and most P4 characters, when you scale the shins in the y-axis, scaling conforming boots to match causes them to break up in the ankles and distort. *sigh* Back to the drawing board.... _________________ "I'd add a legitimate comment here, but that would mean reading everything, which I have no patience for." - Slynky

Well, that the way it goes sometimes in the land of the poser addicts. I am sure you will find a work around, and get it going....it just have to be found.

That's cool... hrmm... higher up is what I'm playing with. And a hair smaller - it seems to work a bit better. _________________ "I'd add a legitimate comment here, but that would mean reading everything, which I have no patience for." - Slynky

*Raises eyebrow* and what, you don't show us? shame on you. Actually, honestly that cool.. like I said, it is a trial and error thing..sometimes you have to play a hundred tiems to get it to look just right. _________________ Dana Haywood
