As most of you know, I am producing a feature length film, and you seen the art that going into it. Yep..cool. (trying to beat Alan to first web comic to movie thing. Libery the movie vs Heresy..who do you think will win? just kidding.)
Sets, posing, etc I can do without a problem, and have some help doing that. I do lack one resource though..voices. Unless I wish to market this movie to the national board of the school of the deaf (yes, I can make that comment cause I almost in that catagory), it would be nice to have voices come out of the lips of the characters. So far, Roq, Kayla, and Michelle have been spoken for..but there are many more that remain. For instance ,the infamous Father John, Dark man (haven't a fricken clue why I called him that myself so don't ask), and a bunch others. If anybody interested, I will post a list of availible parts..and if you are interested, email mail me and I will send you the script for you to look over.
I hope this didn't sound like spam, but if it does.. please shoot me.. _________________ Dana Haywood

Don't know how everything will look with the timing and my schedule, Dana, and for that matter, I don't know if I have the most articulate voice around, but I'd be happy to help where I can, if you're in need of it.
The whole project sounds primo! _________________ "It is perfectly easy to be original by violating the laws of decency and the canons of good taste."

Believe it or not, the whole project itself: three people already have the most lines. Well, sean isn't taken..and I am not doing him for one reason, and one reason only. I can't get myself to sound like a black guy.
believe it or not, there is a vocal difference for some reason whether intentional or genetic. Just something I notice, and I feel I would insult them by doing a black man part with a white boy voice. (remember the contraversy over the Lion King)..and I am not really will to switch the role over to a white model of Sean namely because the black version is sending a message. The message "Love knows no color." If it freaks people out, good. _________________ Dana Haywood

if you can tell me what "equity" actor is, I can tell you either way no that won't disqualify you. You are community, and this is a community thing. But I would like to know what an equity actor is though.. never heard of it. _________________ Dana Haywood

Cav:
Hey if you need help with voices, and like Argo, I've got the time set aside, I would be more than willing to help, Dana.

Thanks man.. I can send the script over your direction, and you can have a look over..when you are not busy. Like I said to argo, the people with the most lines as far as I know are Michelle, Kayla, and Sean..but I might be wrong. Kayla does have a LOT of lines though so..

LOL
Actors Equity
aka "The Stage Actors Union"
I worked off-Broadway/TV/Radio for about 20 years. How far off-Broadway?
Ummm, near Greenland I think.
=====
oOh there is that evil word.. Union. All I can tell you is I can't pay you anything, but if I do make any money off of this project.. it could go towards the community, or another animated feature that could use community help. But the only place I can see selling it on DVD (for quality, and bulk of the project) is Renderosity..unless Animotions wants to do it. The only problem with Renderosity is they test their stuff, and I am sure they will send the DVD in the trash once they discover the content of the film. Unless it is Vicky Naked in a temple with the Sword, I heard they don't do well with erotic scenes. But that still in the future.
But as I said before, I don't see how this would disqualify you.. you are a member of this community. That makes you as eligible as anybody. Besides this, I asked digitalCC..and that was it. Not because I am being totally selective, but because these are two groups that have the greatest people I have ever met.
If you want me to mail you the script, just send me a mail at my email..(should be listed at the bottom of this post) _________________ Dana Haywood

Just fired you an e-mail, Dana... I'm not exactly well-trained or experienced (although I role-play still on some weekends), and I'm certainly not a prima donna or anything, so if nothing else, maybe I can help you with 'bystander' voices. But I'll do whatever I can to help you make this a success, dude! _________________ "It is perfectly easy to be original by violating the laws of decency and the canons of good taste."

No problem, I sent both you and cav the script..it should be in your emails right now. Hopefully, it is good and it is not betraying the comic (from the raves so far, I guess I didn't.)
