Hi guys and Girls!

While this post is a Shameless Self Promotion, it is also a request for help and support. I've often visited Animotions and enjoyed all the talented graphics artwork that this site has to offer. I am a software developer who has spent the past 8 years developing a very simple-yet powerful role playing game engine. It's designed with Poser4 and Bryce rendered gaphics output and offers a full database design which allows you to create rpg's from any genre.

As the solo developer, I have been the only person programming as well as creating sample demos to test the engine. I am currently at a stable release of v7.88 and would like to welcome anyone interesting in game design to visit my site and share thoughts, ideas or criticisms. Explorations is a 2D tile engine, but offers isometric support as well as a full featured drag-drop map building interface.

The focus behind Explorations is to speed up game development the more it is used. 2D objects can be packaged an Exported the same way 3D objects are exported to DXF, 3DS, or any other format. The ability to import/export objects has also expanded to import/export maps & scenarios. Allowing you to build re-usable, playable game scenes. (taverns, churches, etc.. that are fully functional.)

Explorations feature real-time, phased-based, and turn-based gameplay. In short, it is an attempt to capture all the features within current indie & commercial game engines and allow you to pick & choose your desired game style.

Please drop me a visit and share some of your talent with my mature community. :)

Feel free to download the demo and try some of the free resource objects available. I believe there is a lot of graphics talent here, and it could greatly help the potential of Explorations.

Thank you for reading,
(and moderators, please accept my sincere apology if this is in the wrong forum.)

Tye
