Could somebody please explain to me what "Michael" and "Vicky" are? I gather that they're models and that they come from DAZ, but what exactly is special about them?

Mike and Vicki are high-res models with more morphing options than the figures that come with Poser. They look slightly more realistic than the basic models as well. _________________ Jim Harnock - ODS

The orignal Mike and Vicky can be brought pretty cheaply now - they have even been given out free on magazines.
The latest versions are Mike 3 and Vicky3 and there new companion, Stephanie Petite. These figures are incredibly detailed, with very high polygon counts. They have hundreds of morphs to turn them into an endless array of characters - from pregnant to skinny, from teenager to old, from beautiful to demon. As well as buying the figure you also need morph packs (to get the above versatility) and textures and clothes for them - so it can be expensive. However, there are loads of free bits and pieces (many really good ones) on the web - try www.renderosity.com for a start.
The figures are considered the best there is for Poser - if you want realism then I do recommend them.
