How about a forum for original character design and indie comic creators? I see so much for the fans of existing comics and characters, but not a whole lot for those who create them.
Fan art and fan fiction are wonderful, but what about original creations? Is there no interest in that?

For me it's all about tutorials on how this stuff is made. So texture mapping, character design, lighting, etc... would be great categories. Maybe even a tutorials section if people were interested in writing them.

I really think a Challenge Area would be a great addition here at Animotions. (there was even a hint of this being discussed in one of the recent contest threads). We could spotlight specific characters, texturing, creating sets/ morphs...possibilities are endless. (It would definitely get them there creative juices flowin'!) ](*,)

If you need room to support this kind of thing, Maybe get rid of some of the less used sections -Modder's Workshop seems to be a good candidate, as its not been used in quite awhile.
