September challenge suggestions

I know it is early but here goes. Make your suggestions for September. Maybe a bad guy? Just an idea ... Conan is August's challenge if people want to make sure they do somethign different. Still has to be comic based ...

For that matter, then, pretty much any non-male or non-human figure might do, as long as they're in GL livery. Did DC put out much backstory on any of the others?

My vote is for Dick Tracey villians (again! :wink:

How 'bout "Historical Lanterns"? Was one of them in the court of King Arthur, or Solomon, or Kublai Khan? (Couldn't have been in Pharaoh's court, of course: that's Hawkman & Hawkgirl

How about a 'Manhunter' theme. I.e., any hero/villian whose had the word 'Manhunter' as part of their name/identity? (E.g., Martian Manhunter, Manhunter, etc.)

(Doing the Lanterns also sounds interesting.)

I'm not familiar with any non-Martian "Manhunters" (does not dating much in high-school and college have anything to do with that? :wink:

), but I've got a really great idea for the "historic Lanterns" one. Who's the main arch-enemy/enemies of the GL Corps, anyway?

Actually the Manhunters are.
Jack Kirby updated his version of Manhunter
and that version was eventually intergrated into
the Lantern lore.
the Manhunters were the Guardians first attempt at a corps and failed. The android Manhunters are the corps sworn enemy.

Also, there has been an off-again-on-again DC character called 'Manhunter' - similar vigilante/hero model as Batman
