Looks like yet another failed Pilot from the company that used to be the WB who dropped The Robinsons: Lost in Space series halfway through that pilot's production. The New CW dumped Aquaman now. I'm about done getting excited about new shows from them!

Yah, they dropped it some time ago. But dont count it out. Smallville was dropped 3 times and retooled each time before it was finally picked up by the WB.

Personally, I think putting aquaman on the air right now would floud the market. We already have a great Smallville running wild, witch at least two more seasons left in it.
There's the new Heroe's show coming this fall, which actually looks wonderful. And the pathetic, yet cannot be overlooked, who wants to be a superhero.
That much comic book television means fewer viewers for each, which means lower ratings and less ad dollars, which means early deaths.
I would hate to see Aquaman in a Sink or Swim situation (Heh...I made a punny). Best to save him for a couple of years down the road.

But the actor who played Aquaman in the Pilot can be seen quite a bit this coming season, playing mr Oliver Queen in Smallville.

Yeah, well after watching that new pilot all I can say is Aquaman would have Blown Smallville out of the water!

(Pun Very Much intended!)

It was one of the best unaired pilot's I've ever seen and I've seen a lot! All I can say is wow and pout that they won't be continuing with it as planned.
