I'm getting an "image too large" error. My main image is 800X1240 490 K, the thumb is 200X200 18K. What's up? :?

Hrrm. Sorry about that.. haven't a clue.

Sometimes, the siteware just doesn't like an images paramters, possibly for having metadata tags saved with the jpg by the compression software, or other issues.

One thing that's happened is that ACDSee and a few other image handlers will autosave a pic with a large case extension [*.JPG as opposed to *.jpg], and the galleryware will reject it.

I did get it uploaded but had to reduce the quality of the file. It ended up around 450 behfore it would be accepted. As such the image is a bit grainy....oh well

450kb?

That shouldn't be too grainy. And hey - old movie posters I've seen were a bit grainy anyway. ;)

Cool. Glad you got it figured out before I closed the contest. Good luck.
