I'm in the process of moving my items to Vanishing Point because they're using too much of my account space on my ISP. Currently I've got a link in the Download URL field pointing to where I keep the ZIP files in my account. However, when I cleared that field and put the link to my Vanishing Point free stuff in the Web Site URL field and click on the [Process] button, I got the message "You have tried to upload an unacceptable web site link." I can't seem to find anything in the FAQ which defines what is and is not unacceptable. The link URL is this:
http://www.vanishingpoint.biz/freestuff.asp?memberID=4892

What's unacceptable about it? Thanks for any light you can shed on this.

I dealt with that above in my initial post; I specifically cleared out that field because I want to use the Web Site URL link field to link the graphic to my freebies area on Vanishing Point so I can get away from having the .ZIPs in my account on my ISP. The text above the Web Site URL field reads "Web Site URL (if any) Will link your image to your website." So again, what is unacceptable about http://www.vanishingpoint.biz/freestuff.asp?memberID=4892 and why?

Don't know. I tried to upload something once a long time ago and had simular issues. So I gave up and posted a link some where.

Until some one with admin access can answer, that was the only answer I could see. I figures that the upload forum just didn't allow URL's to other than .zip or .sit files.

Some ISP's have tricks that can redirect any URL call to a web page. Sort of like a custom 404 error. I assumed that's how the people linking to web pages did that.

Sorry I wasn't more nice and wordy like when I responded. I'm on vampire schedual so 5:30pm is basically 5:30 am for me. :-D

I'm such a grouch before I've had my morning cup of virgin blood.

Let us know what happens when you get it figured out.
