I wanted to put the Rhino character I made into the free section for others to use/improve upon. Have a couple questions though since I have not done this before. When I include the cr2 in the zip file that will contain the morphs I made right? Or should I just put a pz3 file in there? The eye bumps I made for the head were done using the P7 morph brush, that will still come through right? And finally all I have to include besides the cr2/pz3 are the texture and alpha maps and the horns prop files as well as the .obj file for the horns correct? Thanks in advance. _________________ I never lay down with the dogs 'cuz you wake up with the fleas. |

| Yo have to sort of do it in parts. No CR2 or PZ3 can be distributed. You will need to save the horns as smart props, save the head morph as a INJection thing or as a PMD, texture maps and alpha maps and maybe a MAT pose or MC6. For the horn it could be a smart prop with embedded geometry or you can have it external (which is usually better). |

Well that sucks LOL. The horns are already smart propped so those are easy, but I have no clue how to save the head morph as an injection, its a full body morph that spans the head neck and chest. I don't know what a PMD is lol. As for the textures and alphas Im just gonna include those and let the user set them up like Aremis did with his overlays. Plus I am wondering if I can pass on the morph I made for the rhinocerous eyes in in the head part of the costume which also smooths the brow because I made those with the P7 morph brush. Sorry to ask so many questions but this part of using Poser is new to me.
P.S. A bunch of the stuff in free section comes in .cr2 files so I dont understand why I cannot use that format. They only open if you have the characters/props needed already on your pc, or so I thought. Would make this process a whole lot easier. _________________ I never lay down with the dogs 'cuz you wake up with the fleas. |

I am not sure which files have CR2 but I am guessing they are P4 files or stuff people created from scratch. The problem with CR2s is they don't necessarily have just what you have on you computer and that causes the issues.
Anyway, pmd (Poser 6-7) is pretty easy to do as I understand it. I haven't actually done it though. I think you just need to save a figure with the morph option on and then send off that pmd. But there are tutorials around. INJection (which is what I normally do since I sell at DAZ) is a bit more complicated but I can try and write it up if you can't find the pmd tutorial. For the textures .. that works. |
