Should I change my Reduced Res Spidey mask UV maps, or stick leave them compatible with Sharby's Textures?
Forget the Sharby textures. Remap it.

Sharby's the man. We all have his textures. Stick with them.

Forget textures. We want a completely orignal Spidey Mesh to go with your Amazin' Armor!!!

Put simply... I made a lower res Spiderman mask a few years ago and UV Mapped it to be compatible with Sharby's textures, (Which was more of a pain in the ass than you think.) but I don't think I ever actually released it.

My mask overcomes some of the limitations of Sharby's Mask. No broken or overlapping geometry. Only around 800 Polys, vs Sharby's 2500.

It's also centered and rotated properly on the XYZ so positioning it over other figures heads is less like playing golf.

I also have geometry for the eyes and a few morphs to allow for comic book style expressions.

But now that Sharby has basically pulled all his free stuff, I'm wondering if I should just re-map it and make all new textures. There is no common geometry between my mask and Sharby's.

What do you think? I would like your opinion.
Thanks.

I think the sharby mask has enough extra textures to be worthwhile in matching.

I like both ideas. Release the mask you did with sharby's textures AND do a new spidey mesh.
