Is this the new generation of MilTeens I see now for sale at DAZ?

Let me get this straight. They upgraded the mesh before I went into production and could do nothing about it?

What? Am I suddenly living my life right or something?

What next?
The Red Sox treat the Yankees like a prison bitch and win the pennant?
Then go into the series as the favorites?

Yup... there be Official Milly3 Teens now. But to me they look more like TEAM AMERICA Puppets with David and SP heads on smaller bodies.

Instead of plunking down $45 (PC Club Discount) on them and their catsuits, I went and got Raph and Mary from Poser Pros for $16.66 Total (On sale), which both include catsuits.

If you read the message at Poser Pros, it looks like most of the clothes for the official kids will also fit the AEON kids with the exception of the catsuit.

The "Real" unimesh kids don't have any growing feature, require their own morph pack instead of using the M3/V3 ones already availble, and IMHO, don't look that good.

Seeing them actually sold me on going for Dodger's work.

The beauty of it all is the lilypad I'm proposing to jump to is significantly clearer.

That is really good news about Dodger. His figures do have a more realistic cast about them. All Mil figs start out a bit on the homely side, haven't you noticed? :lol:

DAZ has them (and variants) in a number of attractive outfits and in the forum there's a lot of developer clothing examples.
But no where do I see anything about wearing V3//M3/S2 generation clothing.

I'm confident about having enough costume changes with the "old" version. As soon as I can ensure that with any of these new-gen figs I'll be of a mind to start converting.

In other good news:
My NFR Review copy of Vue 5 arrived Friday. And since that's the new production environment, the MilTeen announcement fell on the back burner.
There is a lot better/newer in Vue 5. We're guardedly happy. Haven't given it a production shot to play with yet.

In other bad news:
The Procedural texture editor in Vue5 is entirely and completely different. Its going to take a week to get my head around.
First impression : it looks like VisualBasic with all the dragging of little "nodules" around in a flowchart.
Visual basic; I take another drink to keep myself from tearing off all my clothes and running screaming to the woods.

Tomorrow I will lead a horse to water and make it drink
I'll then get blood from a stone.
I'm quite sure both will work.

I find it kind of hard to defend the Yanks after that game 7. That was pathetic.

I mean 10 to 6, I could live with. At least you TRIED.

10 to 3!!!!! ALl I can think is that Steinbrenner didn't sign the bonus checks.

You know seriously I'm not mad about it (unlike one of my co-workers who went a lil' bonkers literally). I'm with my other co-worker in that we think: "hey it's just a game..." (unless we won - then it's "IN YEEER FACE BOOYAAAA!!" just to be with the "in-crowd" lol)

BUT - I must ask for sure now....what are you all gonna do NOW? I mean it's almost been a tradition to "talk about the coulda, woulda, shoulda's" after they lost the big game, mondo bond time with all the guys at the fish 'n chips. Now that they've won - what's there to talk about? Now if they don't do good next year people will be like "Ahh, fiddlesticks, it was just luck..." All I can say is it's gonna be REAL exciting next year and I just can't wait!

I've much respect for Ortiz (no relation), Johnny D., and Heck even Mr. Strikeout McGee - Bellhorn! Even that Pinch-runner whatsis name? The son of Satan? The one that burned a hell-spawned path to tying the game? LOL.

But I cannot respect - Pedro. Dude represents everything that is wrong with the sport. I mean, don't get me wrong - A-Rod talked some smack too and ate his words later, but Pedro's the kind that just makes the sport dirty. I mean what was that with coming out (when he wasn't even needed) during the game we were losing? You know he just wanted to pitch in that game to rub it in. I'm so glad he got spanked and we scored off him which sent him packing haha. We could lose 50 championships so long as we spank him each time. I'll be pleased.

Other than that - I think the Sox have a great line up and some pretty cool "characters" haha...I can respect the team (all except Pedro). Much props to them! (...except Pedro) :wink:
