I have a feeling when the series ends the last show will have clark fly.

I agree - I always said that Im certain the last show, we will see a mature Clark kent, galsses and all, sneaking away for the first time into a phone booth or closet, and we will then see a red and blue streak fly by into the sky or something.
Im certain that when they end this fantastic show, we will see Clark fly in the traditional suit.

So long as the take off doesn't look like he is being propeled by his flatulence, lol.
Sorry. That was the only thing that bothered me about the only (so far) flight scene. That and the Matrix-like Earth warping. Just seemed a bit much.

I don't think we'll see the suit in Smallville. With the new movie coming out, I expect WB will want to keep Superman separate from Smallville.

Also, am I the only one who thinks this season has completely gone down the crapper? It started out really well, but this whole Lana-the-witch arc is sucking the life out of it. It's like they're trying to become Buffy or something.

I agree. I've been very disappointed, with the exception of Chloe finally knowing Clark's secret.
