The new content is the hardest. For ours, which is 2D we made sure to plan out 130 plus posts or pages so we knew where we wanted to go. I can't imagine doing more than 2 pages per week. But to keep us going we have even started to develop the second story. Granted, its a year away from starting, but that story will also be about 120 or so pages.

Its definetly a hurdle, and i am lucky enough to be working with one other person, and together we drive each other forward.

There are alot of cool links being posted here...I am finding alot of cool online comics!!!!!

I'm currently trying to update mine but I'm also having to update all my characters. I am on Poser 6 now so I don't wanna stay using Poser 4 after this current issue.

Hopefully the new one will swing me up to date with alot of the cool comics around here LOL.

I hear that. :) My stuff might not be an on-going series as such but it's sure been going on for while...

LOL. Tell me about it - I update about every two years....man I wish I could just find more time but it's hard when it's for free and you gotta spend most of your day in the "real world" LOL.

I'm a bit of a webcomics fan, and my current daily list includes: Choppingblock (unfortunately on hiatus right now), Code Name Hunter, Ctrl+Alt+Del, DMFA, Faux Pas, Freefall, Furry Militia, Ozy and Millie, PvP Online, Suburban Tribe, Sabrina online, Schlock Mercenary, Sinfest, Order of the Stick and VG Cats. Plus a few more, but I don't want to bore everyone.

It's tough to keep going when you are doing a webcomic. It took me three goes - the first comic strip was hand drawn and died after about six strips, due to my discovery that I can't do humour.

The second was Poser based, lasted about four strips and confirmed that I can't do humour. And that I'm a slow learner.

The third (Exodus: Furry Rebellion) has lasted over a year now. This time I'm not trying to be funny (though it's likely the result still raises a few laughs, for all the wrong reasons). I'm on number 106, and I currently post twice a week, every week. The only way I could make it work was by being very strict with myself*, and refusing to give in to the impulse to slack off "just this once". Each comic takes me between three and four hours to do, and though I don't make much effort to work out my readership numbers I am painfully aware of the bandwidth costs. The comic currently pulls about 5gb a month (around k15 -16 downloads a month).

Oddly, I get flack from some readers because I "cheat" by using Poser, but other comic artists think it's pretty smart. Go figure.

* Which is not as much fun as it sounds.

www.strikeforce3.net has some 3D webcomics. One is at 65 pages in length and growing.

I always loved Liberty, this comic inspired me to make my own - it was done with the help of Poser but not entirely in Poser - and that's what I like. Pure Poser is too flat, it has terrible lighting. Enhancing the rendered image does wonders;)

I've also loved Heresy by Dana, mainly for the plot and characters. That was the kind of story I began to read and couldn't stop. I think it's on biiiiiiig hiatus now.

I like reading Your Exodus, Naladae. I think it's getting better with every page!

Egyptian Triad is (was?) so much fun!

There are but a few 3d online comics running nowadays, and when i was starting my own there were many more... It kind of makes me sad.

Besides Ariah81 work which ranks very high on my list I also occasionally read questionable content. It is a daily strip with sort of an ongoing plot. At first I was reading it to waste time but the fact that he hasn't missed an update in 424 postings Monday-Friday kind of got me caught up in it. It is a character driven piece with some laughs. Like I said I wasn't in to it at first so I have to agree with whoever said earlier that the main draw to any online comic is timely updates and consistency.

It is also kind of cool with this one to see the growth of this guy from his early pages to now.

I started out my online readings with Fed21 and HCK also the original Time Extreme was pretty cool wish I could have read more to see where it was going, and I really liked Jack at least what I was able to read but I can't find it now.

The specialist is interesting also.

That's about it.

I would mention some of mine but they aren't regular yet. My problem is different than some...My creative brain as ADD i think because I have too many projects going to have a regular schedule for anything. So I am going to try something different for the next one...My artistic side can't keep pace with my writing side...(I say artistic in a loose sence of the word)

I really liked Liberty as well. I think the second instalment looked pretty awesome all in all. The first one was great as well. I enjoyed the humour and the story line a lot. It inspired me to try and do my own comic but it's such timeconsuming thing that I eventually allways just give up after few pages.

It is sad that so much of this stuff has disappeared even from the www.

The first chapter of my graphic novel, RIVER: skin on the outside is free as a PDF download from my site. The remainder has to be paid for (it's in the marketplace here), but even on the first chapter I'd appreciate any feedback you people might have.

IMP.
