I'm thinking more of the style than of anybody in particular. But how about "Versus Dick Tracey" --- the primary character illustrated, vintage or original, has to be crossing Dick, or Tess Trueheart, or one of the other leads in some way or another, or be or be associated with one of the other well-known DT baddies, like Flat-Top or Baby-Face. :2gunfire:

When's the challenge supposed to kick off, anyway?

Check out the September challenge thread QSabot - it looks like Conan is August's challenge - at least I hope so now I've invested in a furry jockstrap and a quart of industrial strength baby oil.
